"Fun Switch Plates"

I've wanted to design some fun switch plates for a while now. These are the first few I made.

"Funky Match Boxes"

I thought about designing a few Funky Match Boxes to have for hostess gifts etc...! These are a few of my first designs. I used big boxes of 250 wooden matches.

"Homemade Chocolate Daisy-Pops"

It's my daughter Emma Grace's 9th Birthday on Thursday so I decided to make her class Homemade Daisy-Pops to celebrate(O: I cannot believe my baby is turning 9!

It's been so long since I made chocolate lollipops and it was so much fun! Now that I have all the supplies, I can see myself going a little nuts with these. I found the best way to keep the chocolate all at the same temperature (smooth enough for decorating). I put the different color chocolate melts into squeeze bottles and place them in a crock pot on low. Do this ahead of time so it's ready when you are. I found all my supplies at Michaels yesterday. I wanted to do something a little different than bringing in a cake. I think the children will enjoy them and the teachers too!!

"A Few December Journal Pages"

I was able to do a little playing around in my studio this weekend. Here are a few journal pages I'm getting started with.

"Penny Lane Projects" (before & after)

I thought I'd start a segment on the projects I do in our new home (since there are so many I have planned). These are before and after photos of our kitchen sink. I would love to replace the sink all together and put in a deep farm sink but in the mean time this is what I did. I took 6 different patterns of scrapbook paper and cut them up into little squares. Then I placed them directly on the existing tile that surrounded the sink in a mosaic pattern using elmers glue. Once they were placed and the glue had dried I poured on my favorite 2 part resin (equal to 50 coats of varnish) and let it dry for 72 hours. Now this work space around the sink has a little more character and feels more like me.

I still want to change out the faucet fixture but this was the first step.

"Custom Portrait of Bob & Company"

Okay so how cute is Bob with his polo shirt on?!! This portrait was so much fun to do(O: As you can see I can also do a custom portrait of your pet. Thanks Diane, I hope you like it(O:
