In the Studio
I've started my second mosaic. I'm really enjoying this medium and can't believe I've never attempted one of these before. I actually feel like I'm painting with paper. I don't think I have the patience to do a mosaic in stone or glass. I look up to all you talented mosaic artists that do. I just can't see myself cutting sharp pieces of glass and tile. Using paper tiles suits me perfectly. Sometimes in order to achieve to right color, I need to pull a few different colors to get the effect I want. It's like mixing paint only it's all different colors of tiny bits of paper. This is my current WIP
