My Russian Doll Collection of drawings is....growing!
I've been working on a new collection of Russian Doll drawings for some new FANCY HAIRBRUSHES(O: You know...... I heard a few stories over the past few weeks of people becoming very successful with their Etsy Shops. The thing is, every story I heard was about artists that focused on one particular type of product. I have been racking my brain for what my product should be and it came to me that my fancy Hairbrushes were the one thing that sold out in my Etsy Shop. I'm really excited and plan to completely revamp my Etsy Shop and focus on filling my Shop with Fancy Hairbrushes with my Russian Doll drawings on them. Not only are they pretty but they are also practical. I love practical art, it's the Capricorn in me!! Also, I've found that these Fancy Hairbrushes make really wonderful gifts. So here I am starting out my collection of Russian Doll drawings that I will be transforming into fun and colorful Fancy Hairbrushes.
These are a few more of my designs so far:
These Hairbrushes are going to be SO cute, I can't wait to show you these vibrant creations I've been working on!

"Sketchbook on the GO"

So far this summer has so much busier than previous summers. I think it's the age my girls are at where they want to try to do so many different things. I find myself up late at night working on my art because I feel the need for that dose of creativity to stay true to myself. It seems these late nights are catching up with me. Since I won't be spending the usual time I like in my studio this summer (due to my motherly duties to my enthusiastic children) I have decided to photograph my sketchbook this summer. If there is one thing I never leave home without it's my sketchbook. So no matter where I am this summer as my girls experience their activities such as riding horses, Tae Kwon Do, soccer or swimming, I will continue to create art daily as I do in my "Sketchbook on the GO".
I hope to catch up with my blog friends soon, there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to do everything I want to do. I want to thank everyone for all their amazing comments. It really means so much to me!!!
