"Sketchbook on the GO"

"Weeping Willow's"

So far this summer has so much busier than previous summers. I think it's the age my girls are at where they want to try to do so many different things. I find myself up late at night working on my art because I feel the need for that dose of creativity to stay true to myself. It seems these late nights are catching up with me. Since I won't be spending the usual time I like in my studio this summer (due to my motherly duties to my enthusiastic children) I have decided to photograph my sketchbook  this summer. If there is one thing I never leave home without it's my sketchbook. So no matter where I am this summer as my girls experience their activities such as riding horses, Tae Kwon Do, soccer or swimming, I will continue to create art daily as I do in my "Sketchbook on the GO".

I hope to catch up with my blog friends soon, there just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to do everything I want to do. I want to thank everyone for all their amazing comments. It really means so much to me!!!

  4. What a great idea! I think I shall have to try this too!

Such a fun but busy age isn't it? They all have directions they want to go in and of course they are never the same ones!

Great sketch you have started here - be sure to share it with us when you are done!
